Joinery Project Manager | Commercial Joinery & Washroom Fit-Out Projects


Experienced project manager with over 5 years’ expertise delivering commercial joinery and washroom fit-out packages across office, retail, hospitality, and public sector environments. Skilled in managing bespoke joinery, washroom cubicles, vanity units, and specialist interiors from design coordination through to manufacture and installation, ensuring programme certainty, cost control, and high-quality finishes.


Adept at coordinating workshop production teams and site installation teams, managing subcontractors, and working closely with main contractors, architects, and consultants to ensure seamless project delivery in live and fast-moving construction environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Managed commercial joinery and washroom fit-out packages across multiple live construction projects, overseeing the full lifecycle from design coordination to site installation and handover
  • Coordinated internal workshop production teams to ensure efficient manufacture of joinery and washroom systems, maintaining quality control and programme alignment
  • Liaised with main contractors, site managers, architects, and design teams to ensure technical compliance and smooth project delivery
  • Managed project programmes, budgets, and procurement of materials, ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to deadlines
  • Resolved design, technical, and site-based issues proactively to minimise delays and maintain installation schedules
  • Ensured all joinery and washroom installations met commercial standards, specifications, and health & safety requirements
  • Conducted regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and installation accuracy


Key Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong experience in commercial joinery, washroom systems, and interior fit-out delivery
  • Proven ability to manage both workshop production and site installation coordination
  • Excellent understanding of construction programmes, sequencing, and site logistics
  • Confident communicator with main contractors, consultants, and internal teams
  • Strong commercial awareness including cost control, variations, and procurement
  • Problem-solving mindset with ability to resolve site and design coordination issues quickly
  • Highly organised with strong planning and programme management skills
  • Flexible and proactive approach to working across multiple live sites
