Job description
A fast-scaling, international technology company is looking for a senior employment lawyer to take full ownership of its EMEA employment function.
This is a standalone role. You will act as the go-to employment counsel across multiple jurisdictions, working directly with senior leadership, HR, and business stakeholders.
The role
You will step into a high-impact position with immediate responsibility:
- Lead on all EMEA employment matters across a complex, multi-country footprint
- Advise on day-to-day HR issues, senior exits, investigations, and disputes
- Support rapid hiring and scaling across key European offices
- Drive consistency in employment policies, contracts, and processes
- Manage external counsel where needed, with a focus on efficiency and cost control
- Partner closely with leadership on risk, strategy, and organisational change
The profile
- UK-qualified employment lawyer with 8+ years’ experience
- Strong in-house exposure within a fast-paced business
- Comfortable operating as a sole employment counsel
- Experience across multiple EMEA jurisdictions
