About the Company
I’m working with a food manufacturer in Cambridgeshire who is looking for a new Supply Chain Manager across 2 sites. It’s a great opportunity for you to make an influence on a huge company and manage a small team.
About the Role
Your role will be to oversee and manage the end-to-end supply chain, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and high service levels across all areas.
Responsibilities
- Leading Customer Service and administrative functions
- Partnering with the commercial team to understand and deliver against customer requirements
- Developing and aligning production plans to meet demand
- Managing third-party warehousing and distribution partners
- Overseeing transport and shipping operations
- Procuring third-party products to support business needs
- Maintaining accurate inventory control and stock management
- Driving continuous improvement across systems, processes, and data accuracy
- Collaborating cross-functionally as part of the S&OP process
- Monitoring and improving overall service levels
Required Skills
- Managing teams - proven people management skill and team development
- Able to manage and prioritise workload
- Supply chain management experience within a food manufacturing environment
- Experience working with 3rd party logistics and warehousing suppliers
- Experience in ERP systems
- Experienced in inventory management and forecasting
