A leading consultancy partner is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join at the very beginning of a three‑year public sector digital transformation programme for one of their key clients. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role from day one, shaping delivery approaches and driving progress across a complex, multi‑workstream environment.

✅ You embed best‑practice delivery, assurance and documentation approaches early


What You’ll Be Doing:

➡ Leading day‑to‑day delivery across a defined service/workstream within a wider transformation programme

➡ Managing scope, risks, issues, dependencies, plans and delivery milestones

➡ Ensuring alignment to GDS lifecycle phases (Discovery, Alpha, Beta, Live)

➡ Facilitating workshops, planning sessions and stakeholder meetings across operational, design, product and technical teams

➡ Overseeing governance reporting, documentation and public‑sector audit requirements

➡ Supporting business readiness, transition and operational embedding

➡ Managing project budgets, forecasts and resource allocations within delegated authority


What We’re Looking For

✔ Proven experience delivering projects in complex public‑sector environments

✔ Strong understanding of GDS standards and agile delivery principles

✔ Skilled communicator with confident stakeholder engagement capability

✔ Able to manage structured governance, reporting and risk/issue frameworks

✔ Background in consultancy or client‑facing delivery roles

✔ PRINCE2, MSP, Agile or equivalent certifications (desirable)

✔Eligibility to secure SC Clearance


Location & Working Pattern

Remote - Occasional travel to client site - few times a month (London)
