Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing organisation operating within a complex, project-driven environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial professional to step into a leadership role, managing high-value contracts and supporting the successful delivery of critical programmes.
The Role
As Commercial Contracts Manager, you will lead and support a team of Commercial/Contracts professionals while playing a key role in the negotiation, management, and delivery of complex contractual agreements. You will act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, ensuring commercial risks are effectively managed and opportunities maximised.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of Commercial professionals
- Develop and execute negotiation strategies for high-value contracts
- Draft, review, and negotiate terms and conditions
- Provide commercial guidance across the full contract lifecycle (bid to delivery)
- Interpret customer requirements and align them with business objectives
- Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities
- Oversee contract performance and ensure obligations are met
- Manage contract changes and ensure financial commitments are achieved
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project management, finance, and engineering
About You
- Proven experience in a Commercial or Contracts Management role
- Experience managing or mentoring team members
- Strong background in negotiating complex contracts
- Ability to manage risk and provide sound commercial judgement
- Experience working within regulated, engineering, manufacturing, defence, or similarly complex environments is desirable
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
