Job description

Equifind is supporting a global investment management group in the recruitment of a Finance Manager to join their Mayfair office, working on-site four days per week.


The role reports to the Finance Director and oversees a junior accountant, with responsibility for management accounts, financial reporting, and financial control across multiple entities. It sits within a fast-paced, multi-entity investment environment and requires strong technical accounting skills, the ability to work at pace, and a focus on supporting the development of the wider finance team.


For the right candidate, there is a strong progression opportunity, with the intention for this individual to ultimately take full ownership of the function as the business continues to grow. The role will also play a key part in leading strategic initiatives and transformational projects that are already planned within the business.


Key duties:

  • Management and oversight of day-to-day accounting across group entities, ensuring accurate records and strong financial controls.
  • Lead month-end close and production of management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
  • Support group consolidation and ensure consistency of accounting treatment across entities.
  • Own key balance sheet reconciliations and maintain audit-ready supporting schedules.
  • Coordinate statutory accounts and manage external audit process, including resolution of queries.


Application criteria:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong experience in financial reporting and accounting processes.
  • Experience working in a multi-entity environment.
  • Good understanding of FRS 102 accounting standards.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems.
  • Organised and detail-oriented.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
