Our long established logistics client based near Mansfield Nottinghamshire has an urgent requirement for HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers to join their team on a regular ongoing basis.

Job Description.

Work involves Class 1 HGV Driving Tramping work across the UK to Manufacturing Sites or similar types of site, plus some back hauling my be required, so staying in touch with the transport team is also vital part of this work. Our client also as various depots all over the UK, some of your night outs could be at the depots where you have better facilities as well.

This is trailor swapping only, no handballing, easy work, modern fleet.

Start times will range from 0400am to 0800am and you will be doing nights out all week.

7 day a week operation, so you can pick your days, Monday to Friday, Wednesday to Sunday and so on.

Licence requirements:

• HGV Class 1 Licence
• Up to date CPC for your Class 1
• Up to date Digi card for your Class 1

You Must:

• Have a positive attitude and a great work ethic
• Be punctual
• Smart appearance as you will be representing the company (no Jeans etc.)
• Keep vehicle clean and to a good standard
• Good communication skills are essential for this position as you might be needed to be contactable throughout the shift

Salary:

All the below rates are PAYE or Umbrella,

• Days per hour: £15.00 ph (PAYE), £18.00 ph (Umbrella inclusive of Holiday Pay)
• Weekends: Saturday £18.00 ph (PAYE), £20.00 ph (Umbrella), Sunday £20.00 ph (PAYE), £22.00 ph (Umbrella)
• Night out allowance of £25.00 per night out
• Over night parking expenses may be paid but will need prior approval before doing this
