Job description
Trainee Toolmaker, Gloucestershire, NegotiableMy client is an established and successful engineering / manufacturing client providing precision engineering services and manufacturing pressed components to a variety of industries.
They are looking to add to their team and succession plan for the future. The client is keen to find somebody eager and keen to pursue a career in press tool manufacture.
Specific Responsibilities: -
*Maintaining and refurbishment of production tooling
*CNC & Manual Turning and Milling.
*Maintaining, repairing, modifying and production new press tools.
*Controlling stock levels of press tool spares.
*Generating spares lists with the relevant controlled drawings ready for manufacture.
Working hours are: -
7-30am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, 7-30 to 1pm Friday.

The successful candidate will be looking for a career in toolmaking, you could be a recently qualified apprentice or perhaps a machinist looking to move into a new engineering discipline.
