Senior Authorised Person – BESS Project – North Scotland (Island Based) - 4 Month contract - August Start

I’m working with a client delivering a BESS project up in North Scotland, who will be responsible for energisation, commissioning, and bringing the site online.

The role:

• Acting as SAP through energisation, cold & hot commissioning
• Managing permits, switching, and safety
• Working across 33kV infrastructure (SFTS)
• Coordinating with SSEN / SHEPD networks (cross-boundary work)
• Overseeing BESS integration & witness testing

Requirements:

• Proven SAP experience within DNO environments or private networks
• Experience on BESS or power station projects
• Comfortable managing energisation end to end

Contract details:

• August start
• 4 months
• Day rate, outside IR35
• Monday to Friday, 10–12 hour days
• Island based in North Scotland
