About my client


My client is a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy with strong expertise across both Structural & Civil Engineering. They have very successfully built up their presence within both of these fields to a point where they are well-known for their expertise and innovative approach to their projects. They are a 150+ strong company with 4 offices in the UK currently, with a large team in Manchester.


Of which, they are working on a number of very high profile developments across residential & commercial, including tall buildings. Due to a strong pipeline, they are now looking to bring on a new Senior Structural Engineer who can lend their engineering ability to spearhead these projects and seeing them through to completion.



What you’ll be doing

  • Overseeing the technical and commercial aspects of various projects, ensuring client expectations are met, and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Your design experience will be crucial in maintaining high standards of quality and safety, contributing to the growth of the business.
  • This role offers a unique opportunity to tackle diverse engineering challenges for various new builds and refurbishment projects in a range of sectors.

What you’ll need for this role

  • At least 5 years of experience working as a Structural Engineer
  • A degree within Structural Engineering (or another relevant field)
  • Must have strong technical expertise within a range of structures projects
  • Great team leadership ability and previous experience in managing client relationships, with the ability to manage financial aspects of your projects
  • Previous experience in project management for structural projects
  • Ability to build strong collaborative relationships with team members and clients
