Senior Project Manager

Job description

We are a forward-thinking and rapidly expanding main contractor based in London, delivering high-quality commercial fit-out projects across the capital. With a strong pipeline of fast-track schemes valued up to £5 million, we are looking to appoint an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to join our team.

The Role

As Senior Project Manager, you will take full ownership of multiple commercial fit-out projects from pre-construction through to completion. These are typically fast-paced, high-specification schemes where programme, quality, and client satisfaction are critical.

You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, while maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage commercial fit-out projects (typically £500k–£5m) from inception to handover
• Develop and manage project programmes, ensuring fast-track delivery
• Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Maintain close client engagement and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure strict adherence to health & safety and quality standards
• Monitor project costs, variations, and risk
• Drive programme performance and problem-solving on site

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager (or experienced Project Manager ready to step up) within commercial fit-out
• Strong track record delivering fast-track projects in London
• Excellent knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and project controls
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain strong client relationships
• Commercially aware with good financial management skills
• Proactive, hands-on, and solutions-focused approach
• Strong leadership and communication skills
