Corporate Associate (2+ PQE)

6-Month FTC | London | Broad Corporate / Transactions

SSQ is representing an opportunity for a Corporate Associate to join a well-regarded international firm on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

This role will support two busy corporate teams and offers exposure to a broad mix of transactional and advisory work across a diverse client base.

The Role

You will work across a range of corporate matters, including:

• Private M&A transactions
• Investment and financing work
• General corporate advisory

The role offers a good breadth of experience across different types of transactions, with the opportunity to work with both emerging and established businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting and negotiating a range of corporate documents
• Supporting transactions from due diligence through to completion
• Advising on corporate governance and general company matters
• Working alongside colleagues on cross-border matters where relevant

• Exposure to a range of sectors and clients

What They’re Looking For

• England & Wales qualified lawyer with 2 PQE +
• Experience in corporate transactions (M&A, investments or general corporate)
• Strong drafting skills and commercial awareness
• Able to operate effectively in a busy team environment
