A globally recognised design studio, known for delivering some of the most gorgeous high-end residential interiors across the UK and internationally, is seeking a Senior FF&E Designer to join its growing team.


This is a key role for a highly capable and detail-driven designer ready to take ownership of projects, lead FF&E packages, and contribute to the delivery of beautifully crafted, design-led interiors at the highest level.

Working closely with Design Directors, you will guide projects from concept through to installation while mentoring junior team members and ensuring a consistently high standard of design and technical delivery.


Responsibilities

Lead FF&E design across high-end residential projects from concept through to completion, ensuring design intent is carried through all RIBA stages


Collaborate with Design Directors to develop and confidently present refined design concepts to internal teams and clients


Produce and oversee detailed design documentation including layouts, lighting plans, joinery detailing, and full FF&E tender packages


Take ownership of procurement processes, including supplier coordination, logistics, delivery, and installation


Manage relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle


Review and approve shop drawings, samples, and technical details, maintaining design integrity and quality


Attend site regularly, resolving RFIs, coordinating with contractors, and managing design changes or variations


Lead and mentor junior FF&E designers, overseeing output and supporting development

Develop and manage procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery and installation


Report proactively on project progress, timelines, and potential risks to senior leadership


Support Design Directors with fee proposals, including programme planning and resourcing

Work closely to project budgets, ensuring design solutions align with cost and buildability requirements


Requirements

Degree in Interior Design, FF&E Design, or a related discipline


5+ years’ experience delivering high-end residential and/or hospitality projects


Proven ability to lead FF&E packages across all RIBA stages, including Stage 4+ documentation


Strong portfolio demonstrating both creative vision and technical delivery


Advanced understanding of FF&E, materials, finishes, and bespoke detailing


Confident managing suppliers, consultants, and client relationships


Strong technical knowledge including UK regulations and buildability


Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign & Photoshop essential)


Experience on site, coordinating with contractors and resolving technical queries


Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment


Leadership experience mentoring or guiding junior designers


Strong commercial awareness, including budgeting and procurement processes
