Medical Science Liaison – Endocrinology & Fertility

Region: Southern UK (everything below the River Thames)


About the Role

We are supporting a growing pharmaceutical organisation expanding its UK Medical Affairs function. This remote, field‑based MSL role will focus on endocrinology, initially supporting fertility and pre‑launch activities, and will suit someone comfortable working in a dynamic environment while driving high‑quality scientific engagement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of the UK medical strategy and operational plans
  • Build and maintain peer‑to‑peer scientific relationships with key opinion leaders, institutions, and healthcare professionals
  • Act as a trusted scientific expert, providing up‑to‑date medical, disease, and product information
  • Support medical affairs activities including congresses, advisory boards, medical education, and training initiatives
  • Collaborate with physicians on publications, medical education programmes, and clinical development activities
  • Raise appropriate disease awareness in alignment with medical and brand strategy through targeted educational programmes
  • Work cross‑functionally with Commercial, Market Access, and other internal stakeholders to deliver medical insight and expertise
  • Develop tactical account plans based on identified scientific and clinical needs
  • Identify, map, profile, and prioritise key medical experts in line with medical objectives
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in full compliance with UK regulations and industry codes of practice (including ABPI)
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation and reporting
  • Liaise with global medical teams as required


Qualifications & Experience

  • Advanced scientific or clinical degree (MD, PhD, PharmD or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Medical Affairs or MSL role
  • Experience in fertility and/or endocrinology is desirable but not essential
  • Strong understanding of the UK healthcare environment and ABPI Code of Practice
  • Experience supporting UK product launches preferred

Additional Information

  • Home‑based role with occasional office visits
  • Up to 70% travel within the region
  • International travel required for congresses and internal meetings
  • Valid UK driving licence required
