The Role

You’ll take ownership of governance administration while providing responsive, high‑quality executive support to the CEO and SMT.

  • Manage Board and Committee cycles, papers, and minute‑taking
  • Oversee governance compliance and statutory documentation
  • Support the organisational risk register and policy management
  • Coordinate executive diaries, correspondence, and logistics
  • Ensure clear and timely information flow across senior leadership


Main Duties

You will ensure robust governance processes are upheld while keeping the CEO and SMT operating efficiently.

  • Prepare, distribute, and record Board and Committee agendas, papers, and minutes
  • Maintain statutory filings, governance records, and regulatory compliance
  • Support Board recruitment, induction, and evaluation
  • Provide diary management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements
  • Handle confidential matters with integrity and professionalism

The Successful Candidate

  • Experienced in governance, company secretarial work, or senior Board administration
  • Confident delivering high‑level executive support in a busy environment
  • Excellent communicator with strong organisation and minute‑taking ability
  • Highly trustworthy, detail‑focused, and able to balance multiple priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working independently


What’s on offer?

  • Salary: circa £32,000 per annum
  • Location: Oxford
  • Working pattern: Hybrid role, with availability for role to be remote
