Hydraulic Modeller – Wastewater | Nationwide (Hybrid Working)

Location: Multiple office locations

Salary: up to £45,000, dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of wastewater network modelling projects
  • Assist with hydraulic and data analysis to inform operational improvements
  • Contribute to feasibility studies using modelling software, GIS, and analytical tools
  • Work collaboratively with senior modellers and multidisciplinary teams
  • Engage with project stakeholders and support client interactions
  • Help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards
  • Maintain awareness of industry developments and best practices

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar)
  • Experience or exposure to wastewater network modelling (academic or professional)
  • Working knowledge of InfoWorks ICM (or similar hydraulic modelling software)
  • Familiarity with GIS tools such as QGIS or ArcGIS
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
  • Desirable: exposure to drainage planning, asset management, or sewerage network projects
  • Bonus skills (advantageous): Python, SQL, or other data analysis tools
