Early Careers Teacher

A small, supportive primary school in South Liverpool is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly‑qualified teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and eager to develop their practice within a nurturing, autism‑specialist environment.


About the School

The school offers a calm, structured and highly supportive setting, with small classes of 7–9 children, all with autism and a range of communication and developmental needs. Staff work collaboratively to ensure every child receives personalised support and opportunities to thrive.


About the Role

As an ECT, you will:

  • Teach a small Early Years or KS1 class of children with autism
  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Work closely with experienced teachers, support staff and specialists
  • Create a positive, predictable and inclusive classroom environment
  • Support children’s communication, social development and emotional regulation
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
