Bristol | 6‑Month Contract | Inside IR35 | Competitive Rate

We are recruiting on behalf of a global engineering and manufacturing organisation for a Shipping & Export Administrator to support their logistics team on an initial 6‑month contract, operating inside IR35, with a strong likelihood of extension.


This role is ideal for an experienced shipping or export administrator who can hit the ground running in a structured, fast‑paced environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating UK and international shipments via road, air, and sea
  • Preparing and processing export documentation in line with customs regulations
  • Liaising with freight forwarders, couriers, and customs agents
  • Supporting shipping compliance and record‑keeping
  • Working closely with internal teams to meet dispatch and delivery deadlines
  • Tracking shipments and resolving documentation or delivery issues


Required experience:

  • Shipping, export, logistics, or supply chain administration experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confidence working under time pressure with multiple deadlines
  • Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work effectively in an inside‑IR35 contract role
