AI Engineer
Up to £150k | Hybrid (London)
We’re working with a high-growth AI company building systems that are already being used day-to-day by customers to automate and improve how work gets done.
The team is focused on solving complex operational problems across areas like decision-making and workflow automation, using LLMs, agent-based systems, and modern data platforms. They’ve moved past early experimentation and are now scaling what’s already working.
The Role
You’ll build and deploy AI systems end-to-end, with a focus on LLM applications, agents, and scalable backend systems.
What You’ll Do
- Build LLM applications (RAG, agents, copilots)
- Design backend systems for AI-driven workflows
- Own full lifecycle: data → model → deployment
- Optimise performance, latency, and cost
- Work closely with product and engineering teams
What They’re Looking For
- Strong Python engineering background
- Experience shipping AI/ML systems into production
- Hands-on with LLMs and modern tooling
- Solid system design and architecture skills
