The Bike Storage Company, based in Chelsea Harbour and operating across the UK. Is a leader in providing secure, sustainable, and bespoke commercial bike storage & other street furniture solutions.


Role Description


We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Junior Operations Manager to support the day-to-day running of business operations. This role would be working closely with the Operations Manager and wider team, helping to coordinate various elements of the supply chain, company processes and ensure smooth delivery of a wide range of projects.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to develop broad operational experience in a growing company.


Key Responsibilities


  • Monitor labour, subcontractors, plant, materials and suppliers
  • Supplier relationships - monitor status of projects within supply chain and update clients on lead times and / or installation dates
  • Liaise with haulage partners for efficient delivery of projects within and outside of the UK
  • General procurement
  • Production of site specific risk & method statements as well as other associated forms
  • Assist with pre-contract information to clients
  • Facilitate the booking in of site induction for company operatives
  • Assist with stock management and inventory control
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and processes
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the wider team as required


Role Requirements


Essential:

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Willingness to join a fast-paced, dynamic office based in Chelsea
  • Competent in Microsoft Office & CRM softwares


Desired:

  • Previous experience in an operations/logistics role
  • Experience within the construction industry
  • Familiarity with Monday CRM software
