New Opportunity – Business Development Manager- Midlands Based

Boden Group are currently working with a growing specialist services business looking to bring in a Business Development Manager to support their Industrial Cleaning & Security division.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with the right attitude and work ethic to step into a highly client-facing, field-based sales role.

The Role

You’ll be focused on winning new business across:

• Industrial & specialist cleaning (deep cleaning, construction, manufacturing sites)
• Student accommodation & commercial environments
• Security-linked service offerings

This isn’t your typical desk-based sales role — you’ll be out on sites, meeting clients, building relationships, and spotting opportunities.

Location

• Midlands-based (Birmingham-focused)
• Hybrid working (typically 1–2 days around the Birmingham office)
• Regional travel required

Package

• £35,000 – £50,000 basic
• Uncapped commission (8% GP)
• Company car / £4,500 allowance
• Additional referral bonus scheme

What they’re looking for

• Personality and drive over experience
• Background in FM, soft services, cleaning or construction (ideal, not essential)
• Comfortable being out on the road, visiting sites and engaging clients
• Someone who wants to build a career in business development

Plenty of support and training will be provided — this is all about bringing in someone who can open doors, build relationships and grow a portfolio.
