Job description

We are pleased to be advising a leading leveraged credit trading platform in London as it continues to expand its European franchise. This opportunity sits within a prominent and growing international credit trading group at a well-established financial institution with a strong presence across both Europe and North America. The platform is highly integrated, benefiting from close collaboration with investment banking, M&A, capital markets, and private funds advisory teams.


The successful candidate will join a high-performing sales and trading team, playing a key role in the distribution of leveraged credit products and the continued development of the firm’s institutional client relationships.


Key responsibilities will include:


  • Marketing and distributing leveraged credit products, including high yield bonds, leveraged loans, and distressed credit
  • Partnering closely with credit trading and research teams to deliver seamless execution and high-quality market insights to clients
  • Collaborating with international desks to facilitate the distribution and trading of global credit products, including investment grade, emerging markets, and structured credit
  • Building and managing relationships with a diverse institutional client base, including hedge funds, asset managers, real money investors, distressed/special situations funds, and banks
  • Contributing to broader desk strategy, including market positioning, idea generation, and client engagement initiatives


Candidate profile:


The ideal candidate will be at VP-level upwards (or equivalent) with relevant experience within a credit sales or trading environment, and a strong understanding of leveraged finance markets. A demonstrable track record of distributing credit products across bonds and loans, alongside strong client relationships within the institutional investor community, is essential.


Candidates should possess strong communication skills, commercial judgement, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative trading environment.
