Business Development Manager

  • Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum + Commission + Bonus
  • Hybrid (2 days per week in Manchester)

Our client is a fast-growing strategic consultancy, looking for a Business Development Manager to play a pivotal role in scaling its impact across the UK and international markets.

The Role

As the Business Development Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of driving commercial growth, working closely with senior stakeholders across a variety of sectors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Converting leads into long-term partnerships
  • Generating new business opportunities
  • Developing tailored proposals
  • Managing and nurturing a strong sales pipeline
  • Collaborating strategically with internal teams
  • Representing the brand at events
  • Increasing market visibility and brand exposure


You’ll be engaging primarily with C-suite executives and HR/People Directors, delivering a consultative sales approach that creates real business impact.


What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a BDM or sales role within:
  • Consulting
  • Learning & Development
  • Organisational Development
  • Leadership Development
  • Strong track record of selling to senior stakeholders (C-suite, HR/People leaders)
  • Demonstrated ability to convert conversations into commercial outcomes
  • A growth mindset and high level of self-awareness
  • Comfortable leveraging technology and AI to enhance performance


Location & Flexibility

  • Hybrid working: 2 days per week in Manchester
  • Full-time
