SATO Europe is looking for a Consumables Sales Executive

Job description

SATO is a leading global provider of Auto-ID solutions that connect people, goods and information. Integrating auto-ID technologies with hardware as solutions, we tag identifiers to things and people at the site of business operations and feed data to IT systems for processing.


Reports to: Sales Manager


MISSION:

  • Achieve or exceed sales budget
  • To grow consumable business for SUL via direct accounts, business partners and new accounts.


VISION:

  • Be the expert in consumables.


FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintain and grow existing key consumable accounts
  • New Business Development for consumables via new accounts
  • Support business partners with growing consumable business with SUL
  • Support the sales team with consumable opportunities


DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee all consumable tenders
  • Work closely with Consumable Product Manager
  • Support the sales team with growing consumable business
  • Work closely with business partners to grow consumable business
  • Grow and maintain key consumable accounts
  • New business development of consumable business via new accounts

  • Take reasonable care for their own health and safety in the workplace.

  • Follow company environmental, hygiene and health and safety procedures/rules at all times, including wearing of PPE when issued and participating in training as instructed by the company.
  • Present a professional and well-groomed appearance at all times


KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

  • SATO Business operation knowledge
  • SATO Product knowledge; Printer, Consumables, Service, Software products, RFID, AIDC
  • High knowledge of consumables
  • Experience of New Business Development
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Customer focused with excellent communication skills (verbally and written)
  • Team player that is flexible, resilient and tenacious.

  • Genbaryoku


OTHER:

  • Undertake projects and tasks as directed by Line Management subject to having the necessary competence and training, particularly with regard to health and safety issues.
