Class 2 HGV Driver Darwen (North West & Scotland Routes) £28,000 £31,000 basic overtime bonuses Monday to Friday Permanent

If you're currently in a role that keeps you away from home most of the week and want something more structured with just 12 overnights and home every other night this could be a strong fit.

THE COMPANY Our client is a leading distributor of thermoplastic sheet, rod and tubing, supplying the fabrication and signage marketplace. Backed by a global acrylic manufacturer, they offer a stable, well-run environment with low staff turnover and strong long-term opportunities.

THE ROLE

• Multi-drop deliveries (1015 drops per day)
• Consistent weekly routes approximately 75% repeat customers
• Core coverage: North West, with Scotland runs 12 times per week (flexible to suit you)
• Scotland routes typically cover Glasgow, Paisley, Dundee and Edinburgh

HOURS & PAY

• Monday to Friday, 7:00am 4:15pm
• All time outside standard hours paid as overtime
• Scotland runs typically depart Monday (returning Tuesday) and Thursday (returning Friday), with overnight stays in a provided sleeper cab
• Early starts on Scotland run days (approx. 6:00am)
• £20 overnight allowance per night away

THE PACKAGE

• £28,000 £31,000 basic salary

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence CPC card
• Minimum 12 months HGV driving experience
• Multi-drop experience preferred
• Comfortable with 12 overnight stays per week (flexibility available)
• Professional, reliable and well presented
• Clean driving licence preferred
