HGV Class 2 Driver Sherburn in Elmet (Leeds)
The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and family-run food distribution business basedinSherburn in Elmet. We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 (CAT C) Driver to join the team on a permanent basis.

Job Type:Permanent, Full-Time

PayDetails:
£34,700 perannum

Overtime paid at time and a half(daily)

Shift Pattern & Start Times:
Monday to Friday
05:30 start
45-hour working week
No weekend work

The Role:
Multi-drop deliveries to bakeries, butchers and farm shops across the North of England
Operating Class 2 vehicles within a food distribution environment
Carrying out daily vehicle checks in line with legal requirements
Cross-checking deliveries, including temperature checks where required
Managing returns and completing relevant paperwork
Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach at all times

Requirements:
Valid HGV Class 2 (CAT C) licence, held for at least 2 years
Valid CPC and Digi Card
Previous multi-drop experience preferred
Maximum 6 points for minor offences only
Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work
Food distribution or refrigeration experience advantageous but not essential
