Role Description

The Utilities Account Manager is a full-time on-site role based in Leicester. In this position, the individual will be responsible for managing and nurturing client relationships, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and delivering tailored utilities and waste management solutions that align with client goals. The role includes analysing consumption data, liaising with suppliers to negotiate contracts, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. Additional responsibilities include project management, reporting, and delivering strategic insights to improve operational efficiency for clients.


Qualifications

  • Strong client relationship management, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and data-driven capabilities, including experience with Excel, reporting tools, and utilities-related data analysis
  • Experience in account management within the utilities or waste management sectors
  • Proven ability to negotiate and manage supplier contracts effectively
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities and tasks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
  • Understanding of the utilities sector and experience in fostering B2B relationships
