Job description

Our client, a leader in structural steel, is recruiting an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager for its facility in the Bellshill area

Job Title – Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager

Skills/Experience:

• Degree Qualified Quantity Surveyor (minimum 4+ years post qualified experience)
• Steel background ideally, with some manufacturing awareness
• Specialist sub-contracting experience
• NEC3/4 Contract understanding and use is preferable
• Project Management ability
• Commercial acumen, pre and post contract

Duties:

• Contract Reviews
• Change control management
• Applications for payment
• Manage Sub-Contractor accounts
• Risk Management
• Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR)
• Project Reporting

Hours of work – Dayshift – Monday to Friday

Salary – £55k to £75k per annum DOE

Benefits – Bonus scheme, Pension Contributions, Death in Service & Onsite Parking

Contract – Permanent
