Senior Product Engineer (Backend)

Top UK Startup | Multiple Hires required, from Mid to Staff-Level Software Engineer

Location: Fully Remote (UK or EU) OR Onsite/Hybrid in London.

Salary: £70K to £130K (Depending on experience - we are hiring Mid, Snr & Staff engineers)

I’m currently partnering with one of the UK's most exciting startup success stories. Their engineering headcount is doubling in H1 to keep up with explosive demand. They've built a first-of-its-kind AI platform that allows B2B companies to create hyper-personalised buyer journeys in seconds.

Product Engineers will have a full stack mindset but naturally have a bias towards Backend. We are looking for highly driven individuals who want to have immediate impact and build a product that users love!! Your approach and impact you've had are more important than the technologies you've worked with - we are open to the technologies you have used. The Tech Stack: Golang, TypeScript, React.

What you’ll do:

• Own features from napkin sketch to production.
• Architect scalable systems to handle real-time data and generative AI workflows.
• Work directly with the founders to shape the product roadmap.
• Join a high-performance engineering culture where speed and quality are equally valued.

What you need:

• 3+ years commercial experience as a Software Engineer.
• Extensive experience with a modern tech stack.
• Backend Engineers: They use Golang & AWS, but this is not essential. We’re looking for someone who has survived and thrived in the trenches of high-scale engineering. You’ve built robust, message-driven backends and know exactly how to keep a system stable when concurrency levels go through the roof
• A StartUp mindset: you enjoy the pace, the ownership, and the lack of red tape.
• The ability to think like a "Product Engineer" - you care about why we build, not just how.

Highly Desirable experience:

• Working as a Founding / Early Stage Engineer.
• Building 0 -1, owning end to end development.
• Experience speaking to users.

The Package:

• Salary: £70,000 - £130,000 Depending on experience - looking to hire 3 engineers ranging from mid - staff level. We can transfer visas for engineers currently in the UK.
