As the Electrical Package Lead, you will take full ownership of the Electrical Systems package on a major hyperscale project. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the electrical design, installation, and commercial delivery, ensuring every phase is executed with certainty and precision.


Electrical Package Lead Responsibilities:

  • Full management of the Electrical Systems package, including design processes and OFCI (Owner Furnished Contractor Installed) equipment.
  • Oversight of day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are installed to project specifications and rigorous QA standards.
  • Drive a "safety first" culture, managing site safety files and QA documentation in collaboration with the Project Manager.
  • Oversee all package costs, including labor, sub-contractors, variations, and valuations, providing weekly cost reports.
  • Manage the project schedule, tracking progress against WBS codes and mitigating risks such as design shortages or delivery delays.
  • Lead weekly sub-contractor meetings, attend site reviews, and act as a key liaison between engineering, planning, and the client.
  • Coach and mentor the electrical team, fostering professional growth and high performance across the project.


Electrical Package Lead Requirements:

  • A relevant Trade background and/or a third-level qualification in Electrical Engineering/Construction Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years in Project Management with a proven record of coordinating large-scale installation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Electrical systems (with a solid understanding of Mechanical interfaces) and experience in Design & Build environments.
  • Ability to drive large-scale projects, manage Industrial Relations issues, and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent IT and communication skills, with the ability to issue detailed internal/external progress reports and lead stakeholder meetings.
