Project Coordinator / Contract Administrator £40,000 to £55,000 Plus

Surrey / London (Site + Hybrid) 3 or 4 days onsite at one of the locations

We’re working with a specialist delivery partner in the data centre and critical infrastructure sector, seeking a highly organised Project Coordinator / Contract Administrator to support complex, fast-paced MEP projects.

This is a pivotal role sitting between project delivery and commercial management, ensuring programmes stay on track, contracts are administered correctly, and stakeholders remain aligned across the lifecycle.

  • Candidate must be capable of organising meetings
  • Up stream management of several specialist Sub contracts, Project specialists and senior customer stake holders.
  • Must understand Projects in a mission critical Environment
  • Organise senior Projects progress meetings
  • Dynamic and self-managing individual
  • Flexible Travel between home and sites

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination

  • Maintain and update project programmes, trackers, and dashboards
  • Coordinate and minute project meetings, tracking actions through to completion
  • Manage document control systems across drawings, specs, and correspondence
  • Liaise with contractors, consultants, and clients to monitor deliverables and risks
  • Support reporting (weekly/monthly) and milestone tracking
  • Coordinate site logistics and MEP trade interfaces

Contract Administration

  • Administer contracts under NEC, JCT or FIDIC frameworks
  • Manage Early Warning Notices (EWNs), Compensation Events (CEs), RFIs
  • Maintain contract registers and ensure compliance with timelines
  • Support payment applications, variations, and change control processes
  • Track contractual obligations and flag risks/non-compliance
  • Manage handover documentation including O&M and commissioning records

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years’ experience in project coordination or contract administration
  • Background in data centres, critical infrastructure, or large-scale MEP projects
  • Working knowledge of NEC3/4, JCT, or FIDIC contracts
  • Strong document control and reporting capability
  • Excellent stakeholder management across contractor, consultant, and client teams
  • High attention to detail with the ability to operate under pressure
  • Exposure to MEP systems (HV/LV, HVAC, UPS, BMS) is advantageous.
