Location: Faringdon, Oxfordshire

Type: Full-Time, Office-Based

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Overview:

I am seeking a Senior Geoscientist to join a geoscience consultancy and survey team. This role involves working on offshore renewable projects, analysing and integrating multidisciplinary datasets to assess site conditions and risks. You will also support data acquisition using advanced unmanned systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, interpret, and report on offshore geophysical and geotechnical data.
• Develop ground models and conduct geohazard assessments.
• Lead small teams, manage projects, and contribute to business development.
• Support geodata acquisition and processing, including photogrammetry and LiDAR.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Earth Sciences or related field.
• Strong experience in offshore geophysical and geotechnical data interpretation.
• Proficiency in GIS tools (ArcGIS/QGIS) and technical report writing.
• Independent work style with keen attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with geotechnical parameter derivation and software tools like IHS Kingdom.
• Onshore survey experience and proficiency in photogrammetry and bathymetry data processing.
