As demand continues to grow, we’re hiring an LED Electrical Design Engineer, but this isn’t your typical “design-heavy” role.

We’re looking for someone who understands how installations actually work on-site — someone who can challenge, validate, and ensure every project is delivered to the highest standard.

Ideal for:

• Experienced electricians ready to step into a design/engineering role
• Electrical engineers with strong practical installation knowledge

What you’ll be doing

• Producing compliant electrical designs (schematics, load calcs, circuit schedules)
• Ensuring full compliance with BS7671 (18th Edition) and emergency lighting standards
• Reviewing installations before, during and after delivery
• Providing technical sign-off and guidance to project & installation teams
• Validating integration of LED upgrades into existing systems
• Supporting testing, commissioning, and certification (EICs, Minor Works, Emergency Lighting)

What we’re looking for

• Strong background in commercial/industrial electrical installations
• Solid working knowledge of BS7671 in real-world environments
• 18th Edition (essential)
• Inspection & Testing (2391) highly desirable
• Ability to read, challenge, and improve electrical designs
• Confidence working with site teams and project managers
