Accounts Manager – NFP and Charities Team

Meraki Talent are recruiting for a well-known Independent Firm who work with a wide range of clients including charities and not-for-profit organisations, providing clear insight, digital efficiency, and long-term support.
The Role
You will manage a portfolio of charity and not-for-profit clients, taking responsibility for planning, coordinating, and delivering work to meet deadlines.
You will prepare annual accounts, carry out independent examinations, and produce management accounting packs. The role also involves supervising a team, supporting staff development, and assisting clients with VAT, bookkeeping, and ad hoc queries.
About You
- ACCA / ICAS qualified (or equivalent)
- 3–5 years’ charity / not-for-profit experience
- At least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Knowledge of charity SORP
- Strong technical, organisational, and communication skills
- Confident managing clients and supporting teams
