Role Purpose
The Senior Store Manager is responsible for driving the commercial performance, customer experience, and operational excellence of the Thomas Pink store. This is a highly sales-driven leadership role, accountable for delivering exceptional results through strong team leadership, premium client engagement, and flawless execution of brand standards.
This role requires a proactive, hands-on leader who leads from the front, thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, and consistently builds a high-performance, client-led sales culture.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Performance & Sales Leadership
- Own and deliver store sales targets and overall commercial performance.
- Drive key retail KPIs including sales, ATV, UPT, and conversion rate through exceptional service and selling behaviours.
- Maintain a strong trading focus with continuous awareness of performance, opportunities, and risks.
- Lead with a proactive, results-driven mindset and strong commercial accountability.
Clientelling, CRM & VIP Development
- Build and execute a strong clientelling strategy to develop loyal, high-value customer relationships.
- Increase store data capture and CRM engagement to improve customer insight and retention.
- Target and develop VIP customers through personalised outreach and relationship management.
- Roll out and embed styling appointments to deliver personalised, appointment-led shopping experiences.
- Deliver regular in-store events to drive engagement, strengthen client relationships, and generate incremental sales opportunities.
Service Proposition & Experience Development
- Build out and continuously elevate the store service proposition to deliver a premium customer experience.
- Lead the roll-out of made-to-measure services, ensuring full team capability and commercial confidence.
Visual Merchandising & Commercial Presentation
- Ensure VM standards are consistently executed to drive sales density and maximise product performance.
- Use visual merchandising strategically to highlight key product stories and support conversion.
- Maintain a premium, aspirational store environment aligned with brand expectations.
Local Business & Community Engagement
- Develop strong relationships with local businesses, hotels, and corporate partners to drive new customer acquisition and footfall.
- Identify and execute local partnerships, collaborations, and events to enhance brand presence.
- Leverage community engagement to support both CRM growth and store performance.
Operational Excellence & Stock Management
- Ensure full operational compliance, stock integrity, and loss prevention standards are maintained.
- Work closely with warehouse and merchandising teams to ensure effective store replenishment and availability of key lines.
- Oversee all store operations including scheduling, payroll, and administrative accuracy.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing, sales-driven team.
- Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable for delivering strong KPI performance.
- Foster a culture of energy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
