Paid Social Strategist (Part-Time / Remote, Rolling Monthly) 5-6 Days per month.
A creative agency designed for how brands actually show up today — where ideas, content and distribution are tightly connected, and where paid social plays a central role in driving real impact.
They’re now looking for a Paid Social Strategist to take ownership of how paid media shows up across their client work — shaping strategy, guiding execution, and continuously improving performance.
This isn’t a plug-and-play activation role.
It’s about bringing structure, clarity and thinking to how paid social works as part of the wider creative ecosystem.
The role
You’ll lead paid social strategy end-to-end — from planning through to activation and optimisation — working closely with creative, social and account teams to ensure paid is integrated from the start, not layered on at the end.
You’ll influence how campaigns are built, how audiences are defined, and how content is shaped to perform in paid environments.
It’s a role for someone who understands that strong paid performance comes from the combination of smart planning, creative thinking and rigorous optimisation.
What you’ll be doing
- Developing paid social strategies aligned to brand and performance objectives
- Planning and running campaigns across Meta, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn
- Defining audiences, budgets and channel roles within campaigns
- Overseeing setup, trafficking and execution across platforms
- Continuously optimising campaigns to improve efficiency and results
- Partnering with creative teams to shape content that performs in paid
- Building testing frameworks across audiences, formats and messaging
- Turning performance data into clear, actionable insight
- Reporting back to clients with clarity and confidence
- Acting as the go-to for paid social across key accounts
What they’re looking for
- 5+ years’ experience in paid social (agency or fast-paced brand environment)
- Strong platform knowledge across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube
- Proven ability to build and lead paid social strategies
- Deep understanding of targeting, campaign structure and optimisation
- Confidence working with data and translating it into meaningful insight
- Comfortable presenting to clients and influencing decision-making
- Collaborative mindset — able to work closely with creative and social teams
- Organised, detail-focused and commercially aware
The shape of the role
- Part-time: approx. 5–6 days per month
- Remote-first, with occasional in-person meetings (London)
- Rolling monthly engagement (ongoing)
- Day rate: £375–£400
