Senior Frontend Engineer (React Native) – Fintech | London (Hybrid)

Job description

I’m currently working with a high-growth fintech company building next-generation digital wallet and on-chain payment solutions, and they’re looking to hire Senior Frontend Engineers to join their team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build and optimise mobile-first applications using React Native (majority of work)

• Contribute to web features using React

• Integrate APIs using GraphQL & REST

• Own features end-to-end — from design to deployment

• Improve performance, reliability, and scalability of frontend systems

• Work cross-functionally in a product-driven squad model

Requirements:

• Strong experience with React Native (non-Expo, production-level apps)
• Solid fundamentals in React & modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience integrating GraphQL / REST APIs
• Strong understanding of mobile performance, debugging, and lifecycle
• Background in fintech, payments, or data-sensitive applications
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical & non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working in cross-functional product teams

Bonus Points

• Experience with XState / state management patterns

• Exposure to test automation (E2E / unit)

• Knowledge of crypto / digital assets

• Open-source contributions or technical writing
