Driver Hire Darlington are currently recruiting an experienced Fork Lift Truck (FLT) Operator to work on a long-term supply basis with a well-established client within the aggregates industry in Darlington.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hard-working FLT Operator looking for stable, ongoing work.

The Role:

• Operating a fork lift truck safely and efficiently
• Moving, loading and unloading aggregates and related materials
• Assisting with yard operations as required
• Carrying out daily checks on the FLT and reporting defects
• Working in line with health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence (in date)
• Previous experience operating an FLT, ideally within an aggregates, quarry, construction or industrial environment
• A strong awareness of health & safety
• Good timekeeping and reliability
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
