3.5 Tonne Delivery Driver

Job description

Accelerate Personnel are currently recruiting for a reliable and motivated 3.5 Tonne Van Driver for your client to join their team. This role involves the timely and accurate delivery of a wide range of vehicle parts to customers and trade clients across the East Anglian region.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out multi-drop deliveries of goods to various locations across East Anglia
Load and unload goods safely, ensuring all items are handled with care
Perform heavy lifting and manual handling as part of daily duties
Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet schedules and deadlines
Provide a high level of customer service at each delivery point, acting as a professional representative of the company
Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records
Carry out basic vehicle checks and ensure the van is kept clean and roadworthy

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence
Previous experience in a similar multi-drop delivery role is preferred
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
Good knowledge of the East Anglia region (or confident using navigation systems)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
