Head Housekeeper Tile House Hub, Shanklin, Isle of Wight

25 hours per week - Monday-Friday

Basic rate: £13.64

Enhancements: 10% for weekends

Attendance Bonus: +75p per hour if you attend all shifts on your rota. T&Cs apply

Were looking for a kind, reliable Head Housekeeper to help keep our care home clean, tidy and welcoming.

As a Head Housekeeper, youll play a key role in making sure everything runs smoothly day to day. Alongside hands-on cleaning, youll help guide the housekeeping team, keep supplies organised, and make sure high standards are maintained throughout the home.

This isnt just about cleaning its about creating a space where residents feel comfortable, respected and truly at home.

What Your Day Could Look Like

Youll help keep the home clean, organised and running smoothly for everyone.

• Leading by example with high standards of cleaning across rooms and shared spaces
• Supporting and guiding other housekeepers in their day-to-day work
• Supporting with deep cleaning
• Help cover holidays or busy periods
• Encouraging strong teamwork between care and housekeeping staff
• Managing stock levels and ordering cleaning products
• Keeping cupboards organised and equipment well maintained
• Acting as a key point of contact for the housekeeping team

What Wed Love You to Bring

Were looking for someone whos reliable, organised, and confident supporting others.

• Able to plan your day and take ownership of tasks
• Comfortable guiding or supporting colleagues
• Confident using cleaning products safely (COSHH awareness)
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
• Kind and respectful around residents and their space
• Previous cleaning experience essential; team-leading experience a bonus
• Housekeeping NVQ would be helpful, but not essential
