Yard Operative
Wolverhampton
£12.71 per hour
Monday to Thursday 7am to 3.30pm, Fridays 7am-12pm
37 hours per week
Temp to Perm

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Yard Operative based in Wolverhampton.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for full time work with the potential to secure a permanent position after a successful temporary period.

Duties will include:

• Operating within a busy yard environment
• Loading and unloading goods safely
• Using simple despatch software systems for stock and order processing
• Handling materials and preparing orders for dispatch
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working area
• Supporting warehouse and yard operations as required

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
• Combi Lift licence preferred but not essential
• Previous yard or warehouse experience preferred
• Basic computer skills and confidence using simple despatch software
• Good attention to detail and ability to work independently
