The Opportunity

As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our team and looking for a driven and commercially minded Account Manager – New Business Development to join our dynamic wholesale division. In this role, you will play a key part in identifying and securing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the ongoing success of FleuraMetz.


Role Overview

As an Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business growth by identifying, targeting, and converting both prospective customers and lapsed clients. You will take ownership of the full sales cycle, from initial outreach through to successful onboarding.

Once clients are onboarded, you will build and nurture long-term relationships, maintaining an active and engaged customer base while continuously expanding your portfolio.

Through a proactive and commercial approach, you will identify opportunities to grow accounts and maximise their potential.


Location

UK based – (Hybrid/ remote)


Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience within the floral wholesale industry, selling directly to florists
  • Proven track record in sales or account management, with a strong focus on new business development
  • An existing network or customer database within the florist sector would be highly advantageous


About You

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships over the phone and remotely
  • Committed to delivering a high level of customer care and service
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Strong ability to understand client needs and provide tailored advice and solutions
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own customer portfolio
  • Results-driven, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
