Job description
Client: The client is a specialized FinTech organization operating in the FX electronic trading space, looking to rebuild its sales enablement and training function after prior generic SaaS approaches failed to deliver impact.
This engagement focuses on creating domain-specific enablement content, training programs, and sales collateral tailored to institutional buyers (e.g., banks and brokers). The consultant will own both strategy and execution, partnering closely with SMEs and sales leadership to improve pipeline quality and conversion.
The client is seeking a Sales Enablement & Training Manager with deep industry expertise who can operate hands-on while driving a structured enablement program. This is a high-touch role requiring London-based coverage (ideally local though open to remote) and close collaboration with on-site teams.
Timeline: 3 Months (temp-to-perm possible)
Level of Support: 160 hours/month for Month 1, 80 hours/month for Months 2 & 3
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: $85/hr
Objectives:
- Assess current sales enablement materials, training programs, and gaps through stakeholder interviews.
- Develop domain-specific sales collateral (decks, battle cards, product training, onboarding materials).
- Build and deliver targeted training programs aligned to FX electronic trading buyers and use cases.
- Partner with SMEs, product, and sales teams to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
- Establish and manage an enablement calendar and training cadence.
- Support new hire onboarding and ramp with tailored materials and processes.
- Improve sales effectiveness, pipeline quality, and conversion rates through better enablement.
Ideal Candidate:
- Sales Enablement / Training Manager with strong experience in B2B and domain-specific sales environments.
- Deep industry experience in FX electronic trading, FinTech, or financial services (banks, brokers, institutional sales).
- Proven ability to create high-quality sales collateral and training content (decks, battle cards, onboarding programs).
- Comfortable operating across both strategy and hands-on execution.
- Strong stakeholder collaboration skills, able to work with SMEs and translate technical concepts into sales-ready materials.
- Experience building and managing structured enablement programs and training cadences.
- London-based or able to travel frequently for on-site collaboration.
- Able to work within GMT time zone.
