Our client, a well-established engineering company, is seeking a Junior Project Engineer (SCADA) to join their team in Hemel Hempstead. The successful candidate will support the delivery of SCADA and control system projects, gaining hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle.Junior Project Engineer (SCADA) Permanent positionSalary: £30,000 – £40,000 (DOE)Monday to FridayHemel HempsteadJunior Project Engineer (SCADA) Job Description • Assist in the design and development of SCADA and control systems• Support the creation and organisation of technical documentation and system layouts• Work alongside senior engineers on project delivery from concept through to commissioning• Assist with data collection, site surveys, and asset information management• Support PLC/SCADA configuration, testing, and system integration activities• Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met• Help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget• Maintain accurate project records with a strong focus on data quality and detail• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering and documentation processesJunior Project Engineer (SCADA) Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications • Degree in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation, Automation, or Systems Engineering• Strong ability to organise and manage technical information• High attention to detail and data accuracy• Good written communication skills• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and diagramming tools• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team• Valid UK driving licence Desirable • Awareness of SCADA or industrial control systems• Familiarity with site surveys and asset data collection• Basic understanding of PLCs, RTUs, and control networks• Exposure to URS or FEED-stage engineering If you feel you’re a good fit for this position, please click ‘apply’.
