SEN Inclusion Assistant - Secondary School | Stockport | Full-Time / Part-Time Available

The Role As an SEN Inclusion Assistant, you will support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them engage in lessons and manage their individual needs. You will work closely with teachers and the SENCO to implement support strategies and contribute to pupils' academic and social progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN
• Support pupils with autism, SEMH, ADHD, and additional needs
• Assist with EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and structured environment
• Support engagement and access to the curriculum
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and support teams

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young people (or transferable experience)
• Calm, patient, and resilient approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build positive relationships
• Genuine interest in supporting pupils with additional needs
• Willingness to learn and develop
