SEN Teaching Assistant – Nurture ProvisionSittingbourneStart: June 2026 | Until Easter 2027Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pmFull-time | Term Time Only

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Sittingbourne, supporting a small group of children within a specialist nurture provision.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about helping children with additional needs thrive in a structured, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support a small group of pupils with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SEN team
  • Deliver activities using pre-prepared planning
  • Help create a calm, consistent, and nurturing learning environment
  • Support pupils’ emotional, social, and academic development

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with children with SEN
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Reliable and able to commit to the full duration of the role
  • Must work term time only (no holidays during term time)
  • Minimal pre-booked appointments to ensure consistency for pupils
