About the RoleAs a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in keeping learning on track in the absence of the class teacher. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering pre-set lessons across a range of subjects
- Creating a positive and focused classroom environment
- Managing student behaviour in line with school policies
- Supporting students to complete their work to a high standard
- Providing clear feedback to teaching staff after each lesson
- Experience working with young people (e.g. Schools, tutoring, coaching, youth work)
- Strong classroom presence and effective behaviour management skills
- A proactive, positive, and adaptable approach
- The ability to stay calm under pressure
