Teaching Assistant Level 2 (Two posts available)

• Hourly Rate: £14.63
• Location: Near Kirkby Lonsdale
• Job Type: Full-time,
• Temporary (Start ASAP until July 2026)

Join a small, rural primary school near Kirkby Lonsdale as a Teaching Assistant Level 2. This role offers a supportive working environment and a long-term opportunity for the right candidate. The position is ideal for someone who is passionate about contributing to the educational development of young learners.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Assist in the preparation and delivery of daily classroom activities.
• Support individual students and small groups to help them meet the learning objectives.
• Work closely with the teaching staff to implement educational programs and monitor student progress.
• Assist in managing classroom behavior and ensuring a safe learning environment.
• Participate in school meetings and training sessions.
• Help with the setup and cleanup of classroom materials and activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A patient and supportive approach to student learning.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Working 1:2:1 with children desirable
