Temporary Primary School Cleaner

Location: NorthwichContract: Temporary – 2 monthsHours: 2 hours per day (weekday evenings or early mornings, to be confirmed)

Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and conscientious Cleaner to support a primary school in Northwich on a temporary basis for approximately two months. The role involves maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• General cleaning of classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
• Replenishing soap, paper towels, and other supplies as required
• Following health & safety and safeguarding procedures at all times
• Ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained daily

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience preferred (school or commercial setting desirable but not essential)
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check (or already hold a valid DBS)
• Understanding of basic health & safety practices
