Job Title: QTS SEN Tutor Core Subjects (Salford) Location: Salford Pay Rate: GBP30 per hour (starting rate) Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | 20 hours per week We are looking for a qualified QTS SEN Tutor to join our team in Salford. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and those working below expected levels. If you are a passionate and experienced teacher with the skills to support SEN students, wed love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Deliver tailored one-to-one GCSE Maths and English lessons to SEN students. Adapt teaching approaches to suit the individual needs of students, focusing on emotional regulation and diverse learning styles. Support students in developing their subject knowledge, boosting study skills, and preparing for exams. Build strong, trusting relationships with students to create a safe and supportive learning environment. Regularly monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents/carers or professionals when required. Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring Maths or English. Experience working with SEN students in a one-to-one or small group setting. Right to work in the UK. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one). Desirable Qualifications: PGCE in Secondary Education. Experience working with students with Autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
